Weight Loss Journey Update

I was still emotionally eating up until this summer. I was gaining weight. Once Oliver was weaned and school was out for the summer, I started waking up early and taking walks. I didn’t see much difference, except I felt better, I knew I was burning more calories… But my clothes were still fitting the same. At the beginning of August I decided to get back to the gym.

Each morning I wake up at 5:10 and change in to my gym clothes. Drive to the gym and get on the elliptical for half an hour. I need to be home by around 6:10am to get showered and mostly ready before Scott has to go to work. It works for us. On mornings where I can’t get out of bed, I workout that night. I used to be a big night gym rat (I was going through a divorce…) and I still would be, but I have a little family, a husband I want to spend my time with and this blog to run. A lot of my meetings happen at night so it jut makes sense to go in the mornings.

I have also started to go to Dirtylicious Dance Fitness class. If you are in Utah County and want to come with me, please let me know! I would love to have you there. It is fun for me! I feel better, I feel sexy, I feel more confident in the bedroom… It isn’t naughty per se, just more sensual dancing.

Since the beginning of August I have lost 8 POUNDS! You guys! This feels so good. I have also been drinking more water. I found that I love the fizzy water by Dasani in White Peach. No calories, pure water. I just feel fancy drinking it.

What is your workout/fitness/body love goal? I am just wanting to feel more confident in clothes.
