I used to go ALL out for Halloween decorations. Give me all the orange and black was my motto. I would hold a big Halloween party for my kids and friends.
Once I got divorced that stopped. I wasn’t earning enough money to host a party like that. In fact, I needed to get rid of a lot of the decorations because it made me emotional to see them.
Back to the real reason for the post! This year’s Halloween decor. If you saw my FALL decor post you know that I like something neutral, that doesn’t stand out with my regular home decor. Same thing goes with my Halloween. I want it to blend in. We still haven’t made it to pick up pumpkins yet, but hopefully this week I can get them!
I love these little gnomes from Home Goods. I got them last year and think they are the cutest. They sit on my little shelf and just look cute. The platter is by Rae Dunn and I love how it has Halloween elements, but isn’t overpowering. And of course I got the truck at the Target Dollar Spot a few weeks ago.
My ghost is from Joann’s a few years ago. I got the bowl that matches the platter from Home Goods. It is Rae Dunn as well. I put my candy in it to hand out to trick-or-treaters.
I have the best pillow from Pillow Panels. You change out the front design and keep the unused ones in the back of the pillow. She has everything for every holiday, season. You name it, she has it! She has the cutest designs. I love the vintage truck bundle she has going on! I bought it at a market earlier in August.
