How are we already at the end of November? I keep thinking time will slow down, and it isn’t. Thanksgiving is past, Christmas is less than a month from now.
When I started this Beauty Favorites theme each month, I wasn’t sure if it would stick. I mean, how many things can a girl try new each month? However I told myself that three was the perfect number of new things to try. I also gave myself permission to share things that I love, but have been using for a while.
This month is 3 new things! I have been using them since October and I can say it is pretty much love.

I heard about the Bobbi Brown Buffing Grains from an extremely lovely lady I follow on Instagram. I have been needing a new face scrub. I know we all have used the same apricot scrub for years. However, try the Buffing Grains. They can be added to ANY cleanser when you’re washing your face. They don’t hurt, I would always turn red and feel like my skin was falling off with the other scrub. The grains are so soft, you can feel them gently exfoliating your skin.
When I went to Sephora to get the Buffing Grains (they weren’t carried in the store I went to) I also looked at the Bobbi Brown lipstick. The same gal on Instagram; who works for Bobbi Brown, always has the most lovely lip color on. I was checking it out. Then I saw the Crushed Lip Color in the shade Lilac. This color is different than what I was looking for. In fact it is different than what I would normally pick out. But, let me tell you, it is gorgeous. It has blue undertones. It is rich. It feels nothing like lipstick on my lips.
Now that colder, drier days are upon us I needed something for my lips at night. I drink a lot of water already. But when the seasons change and the temperatures drop, my lips need all the help they can get. I saw this Burt’s Bees Overnight Intensive Lip Treatment (ad link) at the store and picked it up. It has been working wonders. My lips are so moisturized, and because they are more moisturized my new lipstick stays on better, my lips are more plump and my lips don’t peel!
