I won’t lie. This is probably one of my favorite holidays. Want to know why?
With a tiny bit of prep you can make it super special! Like it is the easiest holiday out there! Unless you count Pi day (also easy).
Each year for the last 5 years I have made rainbow jello which is a labor of love. But so worth it to me. I am going to link where I saw the idea and you can take it from there.
I have also been getting my kids their own box of Lucky Charms cereal. And it has become such a fun treat.
Last year covid had just started and I posted in our neighborhood Facebook page to have everyone print out a photo of a shamrock and place it in a window for everyone to walk around and see. My kids thought it was so much fun.
We made Fruit Loop necklaces as well. Oliver loved eating his.
I know a few people who make and set Leprechaun traps. We haven’t gotten there yet with Claire and Oliver, but I know our time will come! I love that these kids want to trap them! My friend Mary’s kids think up the coolest creations. I think she also will put pieces of gold in the trap for the kids to find in the morning.
And, just wait for the Sweetie La Pie post I have for this month. It is tasty and has an Irish flair!
