Hello!
Where in the world have I been? I've been in my own head. I have been in survival mode. I have been trying to make decisions and choices here in this business. I have been running my home. I have been doubting my mothering. I have been feeling all the imposter syndrome feelings.
It's been rough.
I also had Strep Throat twice in a 3 week period. Yeah. That was my least favorite ever. I wanted to die.
Last year was a big year. I made the goal to do 13 weddings in 2022. I did 18! I am so dang proud of that. In that, I had a couple of weddings go wrong (through no fault of my own at all, other vendors). I had weddings go amazing. I got to make sure that weddings went the right and watched love be the forefront of everyones hearts. It was amazing.
In August, Scott and I decided to take the leap and purchase a new business. He quit his job at the beginning of November to do his training to become the agent of an Allstate office here in his hometown of Pleasant Grove. I have been a licensed insurance agent since 2010. We took over January 1, 2023. The last 6 weeks I have been working there daily and training and teaching. Then outside of that, running my own business, running a household (thankfully Scott is the best husband and partner I could ask for and he is so incredibly helpful!) and being sick (see above).
I have some hope and some drive to get back in to writing consistently and posting to social media consistently. That's my goal.
Plus, my first wedding of 2023 is this weekend and I can't wait to see Sailor and Brady tie the knot!
