Alex is my oldest son. He just turned 13 yesterday. I can’t believe I have TWO teens, a toddler and an infant.
Alex is one of the funniest kids I know. He loves to laugh, he loves to play, he loves to be with his family. Alex is so smart. He can do math in his head that I will pull out my calculator to do.
When Alex was little he would like to watch tv with his little hand on my arm. I miss those days. We have a sweet little saying between us that we started when he was just a little boy. One day I asked him what it meant when we said our little thing back and forth and he said “it is our way of saying ‘I love you'” and he’s not wrong.
I am so proud of the young man you are becoming. You are so kind. I love that everyone is a friend to you. Thank you for being such a good brother. I look forward to each step you are making in this world. I love you.
