Wow! Today you're 7 years old. It feels like forever ago and yesterday all at the same time that you were placed in my arms moments after you came in to this world. I really shouldn't write these posts, I get super emotional writing them.
Claire, you are fierce, loyal, caring, so smart, funny and incredibly lovable. You are my mini-me for sure in all ways. You look just like me (aside from your voluminous hair) and even act like me. I am so grateful for you.
My favorite thing with you is when we cuddle and watch reels on my phone. We can't help but laugh at the same things and get sentimental over the sweet things.
I love watching you grow and learn, but I hate it at the same time because I know it leads to you moving on to bigger and better things. Courtney leaving for college this year is hitting me on all the fronts of life. How short of time I have left before you do the same.
This is going to be your best year yet. I just know it.
