Connecting Remotely

As we are coming close to ending the whole quarantine/social distancing/stay safe, stay home I wanted to talk about how you can keep the connection with those you still aren’t able to see in daily life.

I have lived lots of places. I have friends all over the place. And I try to stay in contact with them on a regular basis. For the last 7 weeks I have been able to be in contact with everyone! I have used the following:

  1. Marco Polo

  2. Text

  3. Instagram

  4. Facebook

  5. FaceTime

I have even done BOOK CLUB with my dearest, sweetest friends. First we were doing it via Google Hangouts and FaceTime then…. We decided to meet with our dinners and the back tailgates of our Mom Cars in the parking lot of the local library. It was perfect. We had dinner together, talked about Big Little Lies, Little Fires Everywhere, and The Dutch Wife in the month of April. It filled a hole in my heart that was in need of getting out of the house and feeling like someone other than mom.
