A few weeks ago we celebrated my in-laws 55th wedding anniversary! It was a complete surprise for them. My sister and brother-in-law planned the whole thing. I wish I could be able to take credit for this! But it was great.

It was a simple party. Dinner included all of my sibling-in-laws, and a few of Scott’s parents siblings. Some of the grandkids were able to come as well. Everyone arrived early so that we were in place when Kent and Janet arrived.
My sister-in-law put together a cute gold, white and red balloon arch. When Kent and Janet got married their wedding colors were red and white. We had several tables to sit at and eat that my niece did the flowers for since she is a florist.

The food was simple for a crowd, Hawaiian Haystacks. I ended up having to leave early because Oliver needed to get to bed, Claire wasn’t feeling well and Courtney had a school dance with a date. I didn’t get any of the cake for dessert!
