Last week I had the honor of hosting a baby shower for my dear friend, Melanie. It was themed Party because she is the life of the party and this baby is going to be a party baby! While planning this shower Melanie and I had a clear vision of disco balls and confetti (which turned into sprinkles, because hello fun food!) and it was so fun to put together.
For refreshments we had rice crispy treats with fruity pebbles mixed in, chocolate covered strawberries, donut hole kebabs, pretzel rods dipped in chocolate with sprinkles on top. I may have ordered a 3 pound container of sprinkles on Amazon for the occasion. I was not sad about it.
For decor, our girl Miranda came in with the most amazing balloons of our life. They even had tiny disco balls in them! You guys, it was a true party baby shower! We also had the cutest little votives filled with sprinkles and candles. It was so much fun and so full of color!
Melanie and Chris were showered with lots of love and gifts for their new bundle who we can't wait to meet in two months! We had some cute games to play, and Melanie even bought a tens machine to do "labor simulation" and it was hilarious!
I felt so honored to be part of such a fun baby shower!
