Must-Haves When You’re Sick

We were hit with the FLU starting at the end of January. Two weeks of sickness has me happy for health in our house. I feel like this season has been the worst for my family. I don’t enjoy it at all. Thankfully, Oliver did not get sick! We have a few things that we have found as essential with sickness.

  1. Cool Mist Humidifier: This will help with the dry winter air and keep coughs to a minimum. I love this one because you can aim the mist in the direction you want it.

  2. Cough Syrup: I am not huge in the “natural” products for sickness. I think they can be very beneficial, but I also worry because they are not regulated or tested. However, this cough syrup has given the best results in my home! I am a nursing mom, and I took this when my cough was so bad that I couldn’t sleep.

  3. Thermometer: We have been through several thermometers in our home. We keep coming back to this one. It seems to be close to accurate. We also have this one and use it on sleeping kids so we don’t disturb them. It isn’t always the most accurate but it gives us a good idea where things are and what needs to happen.

  4. Netflix: We watched A LOT of shows while cuddling sick kids. What is your favorite to binge watch?
